Melissia Hill - One of The First Models I Shot

The funny thing is, at the time I really didn't think she was all that, but she was actually a really good model and beautiful in a way I couldn’t appreciate yet.

I was looking at a lot of Sports Illustrated in those days and the big thing was blowing out the background, so I went out and rented a Nikon 300mm f/2.8 because that's what I had seen Walter Iooss using in those SI making of videos. Anyway, looking back on it, it wasn't so bad. Largely due to her no doubt.
